These support groups are<\/span><\/span>intended for mothers who:<\/span><\/span><\/h3> <\/div>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

  • They feel that the transition to motherhood is difficult and would like to have support along the way;<\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • <\/span>They want to embrace the new person that was born in them after giving birth, but they don’t know how;<\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • <\/span>They feel alone and want to go through this sensitive postpartum period together with other moms;<\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • <\/span>They feel like they don’t have a safe place to share ALL of the feelings they are going through;<\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • <\/span>They are ready to gain new insights about themselves that can help them more easily embrace the new version of themselves as mothers.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

    The ages of the participating children will be similar (babies a few months apart) so that mothers can go through certain developmental stages of children and the challenges they bring with them together.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    How do the meetings<\/span><\/span>function?<\/span><\/span><\/h3> <\/div>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    We meet live in the premises of the Salvea Polyclinic every other Wednesday for 90 minutes during 6 meetings.<\/p>

    • The group will be purposefully closed and there will be no possibility of joining later, so that each participant feels safe and supported.<\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • <\/span>The group consists of 6 mothers of babies of similar age.<\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • <\/span>We start to work after the group is completely full.<\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • <\/span>Attendees will be invited to a Whatsapp group if they wish, in order to connect with each other even more.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

      Attendees can also come with a baby if that’s easier for them. During the meeting, it is possible to breastfeed\/feed\/lull the baby to sleep.<\/span><\/p>

      As part of this group, participants will be able to engage in a conversation with our pediatrician, where they can ask him everything and discuss all of their doubts. That meeting will not be counted among these 6 meetings, but will be added as a bonus.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

      • <\/span>The impact of the baby’s arrival on partner relationships;<\/span><\/p><\/li>

      • <\/span>Coping with your own uncomfortable emotions in motherhood;<\/span><\/p><\/li>

      • <\/span>How to learn to listen to your own intuition;<\/span><\/p><\/li>

      • <\/span>Perfectionism in motherhood;<\/span><\/p><\/li>

      • <\/span>Childbirth and its impact on postpartum;<\/span><\/p><\/li>

      • <\/span>Children’s sleep.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>
