With the introduction of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the healthcare institution Polyclinic Salvea wishes to emphasize the importance of personal data protection and the realization of data subject rights.
Polyclinic Salvea informs all interested parties that:
- During the processing of personal data, data subjects (clients, patients, or employees) have the right to transparency in personal data processing. Polyclinic Salvea is obliged, upon request, to inform the data subject about their personal data being collected, the purpose of data processing, the retention period, the transfer of data to third countries, etc.
- Data subjects have the right to access their personal data.
- Data subjects have the right to correct and supplement all incorrect or incomplete data relating to them.
- Data subjects have the right to erasure (the right to be forgotten) of their personal data at any time, unless the personal data is processed in accordance with legal legitimacy.
- Data subjects have the right to restrict processing, especially if they dispute the accuracy of the data.
- Data subjects have the right to transfer their data in a readable format to another data controller.
- Data subjects have the right to object to the processing of personal data at any time.
Polyclinic Salvea has undertaken various activities to demonstrate reliability and compliance with the GDPR regulation. We have appointed a Data Protection Officer, developed procedures for personal data protection, implemented technical and organizational protective measures and engaged an external independent consultant who assessed the level of compliance with the Regulation through a report.
