Sound therapy inthe treatment ofADHD and ADD
The therapy consists of analog sound stimulation of certain points on the head:
cerebellum
basal ganglia
prefrontal cortex
In this case, sound therapy for children includes various exercises with the voice and breath as well as listening to dedicated binaural therapy to stimulate changes in the state of the brain.
For good results, the therapy should be carried out continuously for a minimum of three months.
Individual therapies can also be done with children without a diagnosis of ADHD or ADD if they show one or more of the following symptoms:
short attention span,
absence,
lack of persistence,
distraction and oscillating attention,
bad dream,
slow attention,
short term memory,
social distractibility,
impulsiveness,
hyperactivity (may be accompanied by aggression towards others),
poor organization,
anxiety,
irritability,
low self-esteem and others.
The therapy is carried out in children from 7 to 18 years of age in two age groups (from 7 to 12 and from 13 to 18).
Sound therapy tohelp with speech andmotor skills
The therapy consists of analog sound stimulation of the brain to encourage a better connection between the left and right hemispheres, stimulation of the center for the balance of sound exercises (work on individual voices), motor exercises and listening to dedicated binaural therapy.
It is intended for children of preschool and school age who have some form of communication and/or language-speech disorders such as articulation or phonological disorders.
Parents should consult and have the opinion of a speech therapist before the first appointment.
The therapy is used in children with reduced motor capacity and poor motor coordination (difficulties writing, throwing or catching a ball, buttoning buttons, general instability, inability to create a smooth movement due to problems in connecting the parts of the movement into a whole).
The individual approach is intended for children from 3 to 18 years old. The group approach it is carried out in 4 age groups
